CHILD PSYCHOLOGIST - Yokota AB

OSS is looking for a qualified and experienced Child Psychologist to fill a position for the for the 374TH Medical Group, Yokota AB, Japan. The ideal candidate has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in clinical or counseling psychology, preferably has two years clinical experience, and who is already living in or currently relocating to Yokota, Japan with an unrestricted and current license to practice psychology in the United States.

Requirements:
Education: Shall have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited psychology program.
License: Shall possess a current license to practice psychology in any one of the 50 states.
Experience. Skilled in individual, family and group psychotherapy, and couples therapy, alcohol and drug treatment evaluations. Strongly preferred candidates will have any experience working in a military treatment facility as a child psychologist. Highly qualified candidates will have over two (2) years’ experience working as a child psychologist.
Professional Liability Insurance. Must carry professional liability insurance for your profession. OSS will negotiate coverage of this cost.
Immunizations: Before start of work, health care workers shall provide proof of immunization from the following diseases according to CDC guidelines: hepatitis B, influenza, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, TDap, and proof of a negative TB skin test completed within the past twelve (12) months (if positive, proof of negative chest X-ray within the past twelve (12) months), hepatitis A and poliovirus. After start of work, the Government will provide post blood borne exposure protocols according to applicable Air Force Instructions.
